He was very pleasant and repeated many times that money doesn't matter. I can tell him any number i want and he will change the invoice. So I asked if it is fare if I would tell 45k as Sotheby's is H color and he sold G. He told me again he doesn't care and he will change the invoice to any number i will tell him as your friendship is the most important. He also told that the invoice he email is wrong. The correct invoice for you should be 59k, as the person that prepared invoice didn't know it is for his friend. Few minutes later he called again and this time he sounded worried. He told that he checked again the price with a diamond dealer and was told that 78k is a great price for such great quality stones. He asked that i do a very serious research on rapaport diamond report and call GIA. .... He claims that the stones bought at Sotheby's have a different quality and we can't compare. Jeffrey, I have a friend who is working for diamond dealer. I sent her the certificate for appraisal. Here is what she wrote: We checked the Rapaport list and the prices are the following: 2.21 carat is $22,900p/c 2.20 carat is $20,100.p/c It means that the list for the first stone is $50,609 and the second stone $44,220. Total is $94,829 less 25% is $71,121 Please advise. Thank you On Mar 7, 2013, at 1:32 PM, Jeffrey Epstein wrote: tell him that before you go to me , you yourself fround the same full retail at 75 k . i just bought two very similar at sothebys, he can see, for a total of 30k before commsision, they were h color and same size he can check last imprtant jewlery auction, . you feel funny talking to him, but it is your jon to verify all invoices and you realized that the web page had the exact same for less.
