I know that Joe Jr. means a lot to him and in my conversations with him, he had wanted Joe Jr. to go into finance. On the investment side, if small plays like Alchemists Kitchen and Sleepstarter are (understandably) too small and not worth your time, I would be happy to mentor Joe Pagano Jr. to look at, critically analyse, and develop seed level deals. If he were to manage a fund in this space with some supervision (by me for domain expertise and Joe Senior or such on the venture side), say with $5M, we could dominate this space. There are some early players like Jeff Walker: https://www.linkedin.com/in/jeffreywalkerinfo (happy to make an intro if you don't know him) who have invested in companies like this: http://www.choosemuse.com. Joi is also in this space with this project (I saw Marko this trip): http://syncproject.co. We could build a good mentorship group around him. It would be a win-win-win: I) Joe Jr. would be in a space that he has an interest and can learn and grow while also making a major impact. 2) Joe Sr. would he happy to see his son developing as a venture person 3) Great companies would get funded at an early stage. 4) We could help a lot of people with the products that are brought to market. I'm also launching a new Executive Diploma in Angel Investing next year (see attached). Happy to offer this for your female friends (shopping of a different sort). You could set up Jeffrey's Angels (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charlie%27s_Angels). Maybe better ROI than jewellery and they will develop professional skills. gino On 6 Aug 2016, at 9:00 AM, Gino Yu • wrote: Yes. It is a company I am mentoring. They are raising 750K. Fascinating story behind it. See
