I also wanted to confirm your advice that, although Mr. Epstein has a vacation home in New York City that he visits temporarily for periods of less than 10 days at a time, unless Mr. Epstein changes his address to New York (i.e., by staying in New York for 10 days or more), SOMU does not consider SORA's 90 day reporting requirement for Level 3 Offenders as being applicable to Mr. Epstein as an out of state offender, and does not require that Mr. Epstein personally report to SOMU to verify his registration information. Additionally, I write to confirm your advice that Mr. Epstein need not continue to inform your office of his temporary visits to his New York vacation home, unless Mr. Epstein intends to remain in New York for 10 days or more, which would trigger his requirement to report his change of address to New York.
