From: Emily Kuchenrither [mailto Sent: Monda Au ust 29 2005 2:55 PM To: T Waitt; Cc: Grant Maughan; ; Alan A. Barr Subject: door changes Good afternoon Ted and Ghislaine — I'm attaching 3 plans, revised per our conversations last week. LD-2.2 will show you the new location the watertight door along with a small ledge along the starboard bulkhead that needs to be built to accommodate plumbing and electric (SK-05 will show you the elevation changes). We also have to increase the size of the bump out on the great room bulkhead the runs along centerline to accommodate a new distribution panel. All of these are pretty minor changes and should not affect the space much at all. MD-2.2 shows you the pocket door we'd like to install between the crew pantry and the pantry. Atlantic suggested it as a way to avoid the awkward door swing and I think it will work nicely. UD-2.2 shows you the same condition between the pantries along with the double door at the top of the guest stairs. Keep in mind the existing handrail connects into the bulkhead and would have to be modified with some kind of post returning to the floor. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
