From: Dr Maxwell To: Ghislaine Maxwell. Subject: My visit to the USA in cunjunction with two paid engagements I have accepted in March. Date: Sat, 04 Jan 2003 17:04:02 +0000 My darling, I am attaching my schedule such as it looks at the moment. As you will see, the Annual Scholars Conference starts in Philadelphia on Saturday 1st March and ends Tuesday 4th March. If I am already in the United States, and therefore will not be suffering from Jet Lag, then it's OK for me to be arriving in Philadelphia on Saturday morning or early afternoon, but if I was flying from England, then I would need to arrive in Philadelphia on Friday 28 February. Secondly I must arrive in Detroit on 9th March as I need to get rested and prepared mentally for the next two heavy working days. I then would depart very likely on the 12th unless they decide they would want me a further day which I will know to-morrow. I therefore have a gap between 4th March and 9th march which I would like to spend in New York where I must see some friends of mine and of course yourself if you happen to be there. Therefore it is for you to chose whether you would be able to fly me to your island or keep me in New York either in the last 10 days of February (which I assume would be nicer weather in the Caribbean) or in the 10 days following 13 or 14 March? I do need a very quick answer on this one since my Ann Arbor hosts who are paying for my return flight from London to Detroit with pauses wherever I ask them are now in real need of my schedule so that they can obtain the best deals for flying me around. May I ask you also if the usual "Pension money" you so generously give me every month is scheduled for the first of January, as usual, as it has not reached my bank yet? Isabel has just returned from a 10-day trip to India and should be arriving to-night in California. She phoned me from Amsterdam and we stayed in permanent email contact. She had a very interesting time over there where
