When Laurie, from Amex, was booking the ticket last night, she referenced the profile for name (even though she had the past ticket with correctly spelled name, she went with the way it was in profile. To add to this, this is the second time this has happened with name! I had an issue with the ticket we just booked her to PB! They spelled her first name wrong, canceled the ticket and rebooked spelling first name correctly, thearilled her last name wrong! 3 tickets later, it was correct). Because they booked your 2 for 1 ticket with name spelled incorrectly, they can't merely change the name. They must actually cancel the ticket and reissue. Because the first class cabin is so small and there are only 2 flights a day that have first class, the seats are in high demand. When our agent cancelled your 2 for I ticket, it is possible someone on the wait list picked up one of the first class seats you and had, and by the time our agent was able to key in all the strokes it takes to purchase your tickets, one of the seats was gone. At this point a 2 for 1 deal cannot happen because the 2 for 1 deal is only available when purchasing 2 first class tickets.
