Dershowitz asked Mike for early termination of Epstein's home confinement status. Dershowitz represented that due to the organized crime link to I Epstein's confinement at home may make him a target. He further represented that someone had recently trespassed on Epstein's property and that this person could have been a member of organized crime. I asked Mike if Dershowitz made this pitch with a straight face. That being said, I told him that Epstein's request should be treated in accordance with their policies and procedures.
