OPA declined to comment. • Video Reconstruction: OPA - CNN inquired into whether the video of the main hallway around Jeffrey Epstein's cell, which per the attorney was corrupted, was sent to Quantico to be reconstructed. OPA declined comment. • Domestic Terrorism: OPA - A member of the Atlantic Council who is working on an Op-Ed to urge Congress to provide more resources to the FBI on domestic terrorism sought some basic information. He was under the impression DT is not a full section and OPA told him it has been a full section for a number of years. OPA also said the FBI has about 850 DT investigations out of an overall number of approximately 5,000 open terrorism investigations. The writer also was provided with recent data on the number of domestic and international terrorism arrests. • NTOC Uptick: OPA - OPA continued to receive media interest in the uptick in tips to NTOC in the first week of August. OPA continued to provide the following statement: "In the first week in August, the FBI saw an increase in tips submitted to the National Threat Operations Center.
