Jeffrey Epstein has been arrested and charged with sex trafficking of minor girls and conspiring with others to traffic minor girls for paid sex acts. He has been charged in the Southern District of New York, for conduct that occurred in locations including New York and Florida. He faces up to 45 years in prison on the current charges. (FYSA: Epstein previously was investigated by the U.S. Attorney's Office and the FBI in Florida, which led to him receiving a non-prosecution agreement in connection with some of his conduct in Florida. The non- prosecution agreement does not apply to the Southern District of New York, and even if it did, we are charging conduct beyond the scope of that agreement.)
